Music from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Dominican Republic and Venezuela will be played in this area. 2nd Area ↑In this innovating area, visitors who just like to taste The Latin Flavor can relax and enjoy the Zouk-, Reggaeton- and Latin House music. Axioma best Dutch Salsaband ↑Axioma is a young Dutch salsagroup consisting with male and female musicians and a lot of different nationalities (Dutch, Cuban, Mexican, German, Curacao, Aruba, Surinam, Venezuela, Spanisch). The musicians enjoy to play latin music on a trendy way and good level. Axioma presents a diversity of salsa and other rythms like; merengue, cha-cha-cha but also cuban bolero, rumba and son. Because Axioma play music from different directions of Latin America they receive always a lot of respect from the public. It's easy to dance all kind of salsastyles on their music what means the dancefloor is always full. The band has eleven musicians with three vocalists; two female singers and a male Cuban singer. The front make a total (dance)show on stage what brings energy to musicians and public. Axioma start in 2002 and in a mean time they became very famous in The Netherlands and Belgium. The energy and repertoire they bring is new and fresh. In February 2006 they receive the SC Award from salsacommunity. com for "The Best Dutch Salsagroup 2005" and in May 2006 they where on the Dutch television in the program "Jong". They have a full agenda and play during the years in different dancelocations, party's and you can find them on stage on several festivals in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. DJ Jarzino ↑
As a DJ Eduardo frequently tries to update his collection. He currently has a wide variation of salsa music which he carries with him such as; Cuban, Puerto Rico , Gran Colombia , Miami , New York and International Salsa. In his case he also has bolero, merengue, merengue house, bachata and zouk, which he became more familiar with because of his Brass Band friends whom he plays with. DJ WILLY, born in Paramaribo, Surinam, where he started his career as a dj in 1980. Soon DJ Willy became the most popular DJ in Surinam where he played in the most popular Discotheques’. In 1992 he moved to the Netherlands where he started over new. He won the DJ-battle in the Imperium in Rotterdam. After that he performed in Amsterdam where he plays all kinds of music, but especially the Salsa. |
Founded on the combination of wide experience of Tom in organizing great salsa events, his knowledge of Latin rhythms and the dynamism of the young enthusiastic dance instructor Jyotir, who rapidly set up his own dance school Anabacoa some years ago.
Jyotir and Tom decided to make it possible for hundreds of people of all ages, to taste and enjoy the unforgettable Latin Atmosphere manifesting every two months on the third Friday
